Marathon Wedding

We just love this film!  When Katie and Gordy got married they did it while running the 2006 London Marathon.  We were really privileged to be filming it for them.  This is the short version.  You can also find the full length film at number

From dressing robe to bridal gown!  This is a typical sequence of a brides preparations in our Autograph style.  It's contemporary, it's funky and it's fun ~ and we feel it really shows the spirit of the girls and of the day.

This premiership and international footballer goes from track suit to wedding glad-rags in some style.  This is a great preps filmed in our typical 'Autograph' style.

Sometimes we're asked produce short films that can be shown on a giant screen at the wedding reception.  You'll find several examples listed on this page.  Here we filmed the couple revisiting their first date together on a trip to the Lake District.

Same hotel, different bride, different year! Again this is typical of our Autograph style of filming and again the bride chose 'in a little while' for the accompanying song (just like in film 4)

Another example of one of our end of film montages.  We love it when something unusual happens.  In this case the boys pulled on some football outfits.  "We're not Brazil, We're Northern Ireland" (and if you know your football and look closely, you may spot the one who actually is!)

This wedding was at a small Saatchi gallery in London's east end.  Although this was filmed some years ago it remains one of our favourites simply because everyone was so laid back and downright cool - and there are so many smiling faces!

This is our wedding demo, which used to be posted out as a sampler in the days before all this on-line watching became the norm (see Concorde and the late, great, John Mills).  Although it's quite old now we still have a real soft spot for it.  There's lots of good things in there - and it shows that we've been filming weddings ever-so-well for quite some time now!

This marriage, between two girls, was one of our first gay weddings.  Civil partnerships had only just become law and everyone was a little anxious.  No need.  It was a great day.

Mad about the boy!  We often film the grooms preparations too.  This is a nice relaxed start to the day, and to the wedding film.  The music says it all really!  You'll also find different styles of filming the grooms preps as you look around our sample films. (also look at film number 60)

Winter weddings, particularly around Christmas time, are becoming quite popular now and this TV presenters wedding has all the ingredients for a great one - family, friends, mulled wine - and lots of heat insulating jackets for the firework display!  Terrific send-off too.

This sequence is now pretty much world famous! - and certainly the most unusual we've ever produced!  The brief remit was that bride (who had just been married below deck)  (see film 42 above) was captured by the pirate 'guests' and rescued by the groom.  Not dead straightforward - but we did it!  Not everyone believes this really is an actual wedding day!

The groom here is a bit of a railway enthusiast - so where better to get married than on a train!  OK, so it was a little cramped - but great fun!

If you're of a romantic persuasion then we can sometimes put little pieces such as this together during the course of your day.  They're not pre-planned as such - just little snippets filmed here and there, often, like this one, just during a walk by the lake.

This real life 'footballers wife' film is a perfect example of our Autograph work.  It has a very unusual beginning (and top marks to Vicki for kissing a real live frog when I asked her to!!) plus all the elements of a great day.  Quite long but well worth watching!

Another Summer Nights spoof!  This one was actually filmed on the wedding day itself - although we don't usually recommend doing that (except for the 'Perfect Day' sequences) as the more complicated sequences can make the day become too centred around the film.  But great fun!

This was going to be a really spectacular wedding with so many things arranged - unfortunately very thick fog and a cold howling wind (in early Spring) meant that it didn't all quite come off.  Nonetheless, they're a great couple and everyone still had a fabulous time.
